Blends of PP (polypropylene) and elastomers (e.g., EPDM), with high cost-performance and excellent weather resistance.
Prepared through dynamic vulcanization or physical blending, this TPE combines a crystalline PP hard phase with an amorphous elastomer soft phase, offering a Shore A hardness range of 30–90. It delivers excellent weatherability, aging resistance, and high-temperature performance (continuous service up to 120 °C), along with strong chemical resistance and recyclability. The material features well-balanced mechanical strength and superior impact resistance, making it ideal for outdoor applications and high-temperature environments. Its low-temperature elasticity is slightly lower than TPS, and processing flow can be fine-tuned through formulation adjustments.
