Also known as thermoplastic polyamide elastomers, with polyamide (nylon) as hard segment and polyether or polyester as soft segment, featuring high strength and excellent oil resistance.
With hardness range Shore D 40 - 85, it has excellent mechanical strength, oil resistance, chemical corrosion resistance and high-temperature resistance (continuous service temperature 120 - 170℃). It has good creep resistance and dimensional stability, and can maintain good performance in harsh environments, with good compatibility with materials such as nylon and PP. Divided into polyether-based TPA (good flexibility and hydrolysis resistance) and polyester-based TPA (better rigidity and wear resistance). The disadvantage is strong hygroscopicity, requiring drying before processing, and high price.
